Fair Trade

Help the farmers!

The Problem

Many farmers don't earn much because the price of the product they farm sinks and that's why there is Fair Trade. Fair Trade offers the farmers to sell their products for a fixed price. So they earn the same as other farmers.

Examples

  • The definition of Fair Trade is an agreement by a seller to pay a fair price.
  • Mostly coffee, bananas, tea, chocolate, gold, sugar, and flowers farmers get a Fair Trade so they earn the same as the others.

What to do to improve?
Fair Trade products are more expensive than non-Fair Trade products. If we buy a Fair Trade product, for example, a banana it will help the farmers to stay at the fixed price.
